Baking Soda

                                            Baking soda is often used in many of the baked gluten-free recipes in the cookbook.

The recipes in the cookbook do not use any baking powder and instead use a combination of baking soda and cream of tartar to leaven baked goods and help them rise.

You can often pick up Arm & Hammer baking soda in your local grocery store. It is also available through Amazon

A few have people online have noted reactions to Arm & Hammer and I'm currently testing this manufacturer of baking soda instead.
